CloseTheCall is an AI-powered phone receptionist that answers your business calls 24/7. When a customer calls, the AI picks up in 2 rings, has a natural human-like conversation, answers questions about your services and pricing, and books appointments directly on your calendar. You get instant SMS and email notifications with full call transcripts. It's custom-trained on YOUR specific business data โ€” not a generic script.
After purchase, you'll receive an email with a simple onboarding form. Fill it out with your business details โ€” services, pricing, service area, hours, and any FAQs your customers commonly ask. This takes about 10 minutes. Our team then custom-builds and trains your AI receptionist within 24โ€“48 hours. We'll email you when it's ready and call you if we need any additional info.

We have three plans: Starter at $297/mo (150 mins included), Growth at $497/mo (400 mins included), and Domination at $997/mo (1,000 mins included). Each plan has a one-time setup fee. Your AI receptionist keeps answering calls โ€” we never cut you off. Additional minutes beyond your plan are billed at $0.85 per minute. The average call is 2โ€“3 minutes, so that's about $1.70โ€“$2.55 per extra call. If you're consistently going over, we'll notify you and suggest upgrading to the next plan for better value.
Yearly billing saves significantly: Starter saves 20% ($238/mo vs $297), Growth saves 30% ($348/mo vs $497), and Domination saves 40% ($598/mo vs $997). Plus, Growth and Domination yearly plans get 50% off the setup fee. That means Growth setup drops from $997 to $499, and Domination drops from $1,997 to $999.
The one-time setup fee covers: custom AI training on your specific business data, voice configuration and testing, CRM/calendar integration setup, phone number provisioning, and initial quality assurance testing. This isn't a templated setup โ€” we custom-build your AI receptionist from scratch based on your services, pricing, and customer needs.
No contracts, ever. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime. Yearly plans are billed annually but you can cancel renewal at any time. We believe in earning your business every month โ€” if we're not delivering value, you shouldn't be locked in.
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) through Stripe, our secure payment processor. All transactions are encrypted with bank-level security.

For complex questions, custom quotes, or situations it's not sure about, it gracefully lets the caller know it'll have someone call them back, takes their info, and sends you an alert immediately. For emergencies, calls get routed directly to your phone. You set the rules for what constitutes an emergency.

We currently serve 12+ home service industries including plumbers, HVAC, electricians, handymen, roofers, locksmiths, appliance repair, garage door repair, pool service, pest control, window & door, and painting contractors. The AI is trained to understand industry-specific terminology, common customer questions, and urgency levels for each trade. We integrate with most popular CRMs used by home service businesses including ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, FieldPulse, and more. After every call, you receive an instant SMS and email with: caller's name and number, reason for calling, full conversation transcript, and any action taken (appointment booked, callback requested, emergency flagged). You're never out of the loop.
You define what counts as an emergency for your business (e.g., burst pipe, no heat in winter, electrical sparking). First, double-check your call forwarding is active by calling your business number from another phone. If it rings your mobile instead of the AI, try re-enabling forwarding using the instructions in your welcome email. If it still doesn't work, email support@closethecall.com with your carrier name and phone model โ€” we'll troubleshoot it within hours.
Email us immediately at support@closethecall.com with the call details. We'll review the transcript, identify the issue, and retrain the AI within 24 hours to prevent it from happening again. This is part of our continuous improvement process โ€” every correction makes the AI smarter.
Check your spam/junk folder for emails. For SMS, make sure the number we text from isn't blocked on your phone. If issues persist, email support@closethecall.com and we'll verify your notification settings and resend any missed alerts.
